My First Wedding Shoot

Last weekend I was fortunate to photograph my first wedding. The bride was my sister in law Nina so while my the payment was low (free), my expectations were high. From what I can gather this was not like most wedding shoots. Being part of the family and with my wife being the maid of honor, we arrived 8 hours before the wedding began. From the time I arrived until the music stopped playing I captured over 1600 shots. There are quite a few good ones out of the 1600 so my plan to take as many photos as possible to increase the probability of capturing at least a few good ones paid off. Since Nina immediately departed with her new husband Matt for their honeymoon, she has not seen a single photo from her wedding yet. I will not post any photos of her in her dress or of the ceremony until she has a chance to see them, but there are so many other goods one from that day and here are a few.
